Today's article is regarding CA Intermediate Course. You will get to know about eligibility, syllabus, registration, exams, fees, marks, weightage, and revalidation for clearing the CA Intermediate course at First Attempt.
🏃So, Let's begin our learning journey.
CA Foundation is the entry-level for the Chartered Accountant course.
CA Intermediate is the Next level after CA Foundation.
There are two routes for registration in CA Intermediate Course
a.After Passing CA foundation
b.Direct Entry Route
Here, I will cover the registration part thru clearing CA Foundation.

💡Steps for registration in CA Intermediate Course after clearing CA Foundation Exams.
✔Visit Self Service Portal - for existing members & students
{Navigate to icai.org>E-services>Student services> Self-service portal>Self Service Portal-for existing member & students}
✔Enter User-ID and password. User - ID is your registration number followed by @icai.org.
Example: NRO/WRO/CRO/SRO@icai.org. It is the same User-Id & Password received during registration in CA Foundation Course.
Any Login Issues? Email your registration number, date of birth, email-id, contact number to ssp.helpdesk@icai.in.
✔After login, select the option: Click here to access SSP Portal.
✔A Student Dashboard is open bearing your photo, name, registration number, contact details, and email id.
✔Other details include course status, current course, course registration, course validity, and region.
✔Select student cycle > intermediate thru PE/CPT/Foundation
A registration page is open. It has three parts :
A.Personal details,
B.Qualification details, and
C.Payment details.
✔In personal details, the section will be pre-filled. You can update/change your address or contact number. Click Save & Next.
✔Now you are in the qualification section. Make sure Class X and Class XII mark-sheet mention as uploaded.

✔Select registration mode from option (PE/CPT/NEWFND): It is the same as shown in your dashboard.
✔Scroll below, choose the medium of study material: Hindi/English.
✔Select Join for Course as Both groups of intermediate exams with Article as YES.
✔Click Save & Next.
✔The last section of the registration form is payment details. Check Photograph and sign mention as uploaded. You can change it.
✔Scroll below for payment details.
✔Opt for both groups of CA Intermediate with articles whose fees are Rs 18000.
✔Click on Generate OTP, Enter captcha code, and submit it.
✔OTP sent to registered mobile number and email-id. Enter OTP and Validate it.
✔OTP is valid for 15 minutes only.
✔Select option as Yes, and submit now. Click ok.
✔Click on the button: Submit at the low right corner.
✔Navigate to the payment gateway. You can make payment from Paytm/Debit card/Credit card/ EMI/UPI/Net banking.
✔Enter OTP, validate it and pay securely. You will receive a pop-up message Payment successfully.
✔Page returns to the dashboard.
✔You can check the status of the registration form in the Student Cycle.
Here, you can see the information submitted to ICAI.
It takes at least seven days to process the registration form.
✔You get a confirmed date of registration For the CA Intermediate course in email-id. That date is the actual date of registration.
💡CA INTERMEDIATE EXAMS ELIGIBILITY:
Students need to complete an eight-month study period before appearing in the CA Intermediate Exams.
Your eight-month study period starts from the actual date of registration(received from ICAI in the mail)
CA Intermediate Exams occur twice a year in May and November.
Suppose your eight-month study period ends in February, then an immediate attempt will be in May.
Similarly, if your eight-month study period ends in September, then an immediate attempt will be November.
💡ARTICLESHIP
It is the learning cum training phase in the Chartered Accountancy profession. You join a CA Firm to get an insight into the world of CA Life. Practical exposure is as crucial as learning theory subjects.
Students have the freedom to choose CA Firm. ICAI does not place a student in a CA firm.

You can find articleship vacancy alerts in the telegram group.
To appear in CA Intermediate exams, Students from the CA Foundation route need not finish articleship.
Students from the CA Foundation route, their articleship starts after clearing Group 1 of CA Intermediate/Group 2 of CA Intermediate or Both groups of CA Intermediate AND completion of ICITSS training.

Group 1 pass + ICITSS training finish: Articleship starts
Group 2 pass + ICITSS training finish: Articleship starts
Both groups Cleared + ICITSS training completed: Articleship starts (highly recommended)
